Clicklist: Show me the arugula

3381009482 55157fabb8 m Clicklist: Show me the arugula>> Michelle Obama’s made good on her organic garden promise. The White House website has pictorial proof that the First Lady’s started to dig.

>> You can even check out the White House garden layout (PDF) — which is curiously devoid of arugula. Did prices go down at Whole Foods?

>> Fast food in the neighborhood = Fat kids in schools. A fast food joint within about 530 feet from a high school “resulted in a 5.2% increase in the incidence of student obesity.” When the food was fast but farther away, or closer but not fast (i.e. full-service eateries), the fat correlation disappeared.

>> My organic pie adventures on pi day. I was gonna bake a pie but gave up….

  1. I just started going to Vegan restuarants and they are fantastic. I was amazed at how delicious and satisfying all the dishes have been. I think anyone could incorporate this into their eating and be much healthier. Thanks, Liz from ExoticWorldGifts.com
