Clicklist: Streets and suicide

  • A street with a view. Google Maps gets street view — only avaliable in select cities though, and LA’s not one of them. San Francisco’s on the map, however. (via The Orange Commune; image from Google Maps)
  • Suicide blocker. Japan’s suicide rates are super high; the government even offers families free software to block access to suicide-related websites due to suicide pacts among groups of people who meet on the Internet.
  • Blogdowntown’s getting a pizza named after it at the Los Angeles Pizza Company — and wants to know what toppings you want on it.
  • More on Starbucks and milk. The mermaid’s planning to “switch to reduced fat, or 2 percent, milk for espresso-based drinks in all U.S. and Canadian stores by the end of 2007.” The chain’s supposed to switch to all rBGH-free milk by then too. [image by Food & Water Watch]
