After a big announcement about a going-out-of-business sale, Eagle Rock’s eco-boutique Regeneration‘s now making a big announcement that it’ll be keeping its doors open by sharing its space with a furniture seller. Regeneration will only be open weekends this month, with a grand reopening planned for February.
>> New urbanism comes to town. Green urban planning experts Peter Newman and Timothy Beatley will talk about “Setting the New Planning Agenda” for green development: “A new approach to urban development needs to be forged out of the down-turn that can at the same time enable cities to respond to the deep challenge of peak oil and climate change.” Hear them on Thurs., Jan. 15 from 3 pm – 5 pm in the Board of Public Works Room 350, 200 N.
