My understanding is that Newsroom Cafe receives its coffee from Mr. Espresso of Oakland, California-Home of Oak Wood Roasted Coffee. They display both the organic and fair-trade symbol on their web page. They list six coffees (both regular and de-caf) that are fair-trade certified.

It had a girl's name -- Sara or Sarah, I think...

How'd the beer & chocolates tasting go over? Kimmy and I were thinking of doing something like this, except with -- you guessed it -- wine. Kinda like a yummier tupperware party --

What beer was it? Just curious.

Here's a suggestion for another fun way to bring people together over sustainable products. This evening I am going to conduct a beer and chocolates tasting with my family. Of course, we'll be using some fair trade and organic chocolates, and hopefully some organic beers if I can find them here in my hometown of State College, PA, where we have all gathered for the holidays. Wine and chocolate tastings can be just as fun, even though beer and chocolate tastings are better, in my humble, biased, beeractivist opinion. Happy holidays Siel.

Cheers,
Chris

And thanks, amazingdrx. Pics are great -- I recommend more of them to everyone, except for those people who just post pics instead of posts with content --
