If you ever venture further out, I highly recommend the likes of <a href="http://www.barefootcoffeeroasters.com/" rel="nofollow">Barefoot Roasters</a> in San Jose, <a href="http://www.caffedeldoge.it/" rel="nofollow">Caffé del Doge</a> in Palo Alto (OK, so they are a small chain out of Venice, does that disqualify them?!), and <a href="http://www.flyinggoatcoffee.com/" rel="nofollow">Flying Goat Coffee</a> in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa. Café Organica definitely does not get enough props compared to its much-lauded compatriots in Ritual Roasters and Blue Bottle.

If you ever venture further out, I highly recommend the likes of Barefoot Roasters in San Jose, Caffé del Doge in Palo Alto (OK, so they are a small chain out of Venice, does that disqualify them?!), and Flying Goat Coffee in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa.
