I have very long, thick hair and finding a conditioner that works for my hair and doesn't have any ingredients that worry me can be a trick. I think I may have found my solution in Made from Earth's Peppermint Conditioner. It leaves my hair soft and easily combable without a greasy coating. It has a pleasant scent that is only barely noticeable once my hair has dried. Made from Earth's Conditioner has a very smooth feel to it and is easy to apply. I like to get it on my hair (heavy on the ends, light at the roots) then put my hair up in a bun and keep the conditioner in for ten to fifteen minutes and then rinse it out with the coldest water I can stand. Doing that leaves my hair incredibly silky, smooth and shiny. I appreciate that Made from Earth's is a company dedicated to helping preserve the environment and not exposing their customers to potentially harmful ingredients.

Since this article was written (in which my blog was mentioned), I've actually started a little web store where I sell only products I believe in. I agree with the comments about the Dr Bronner hair rinse and for that reason, I don't sell it in my store.

However, I find that the Shikakai hand soap is wonderful both as a general hand and body soap, but also as a shampoo. It is milder than the traditional Dr Bronner soap, but if you have dry hair, it's possible you could find it to be too drying.

Cheers,

What an honest and humorous review! I still may try it, but I'm looking forward to more reviews. I'm so glad they changed their packaging.

I gave it a week, and people thought that I spent that entire week not washing my hair. Thumbs down on this product.
