Avatar director James Cameron may be bonding with the indigenous people in the Amazonian jungle right now, but he’ll be back in Los Angeles for Earth Day — at an eco-event you’re invited to!
Called The Global Home Tree Benefit, special guests at this Earth Day event include not just James Cameron but other Avatar cast members — as well as Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa. Plus, other green-minded celebs like Jason Mraz, Rosario Dawson, and Daryl Hannah are expected to attend.
All guests will enjoy live music, a screening of eco-highlights from Avatar, and Q&A with the filmmaker and cast.
When: Earth Day, Thurs., April 22, 7:30 pm – 11 pm
Where: Nokia Theatre, 777 Chick Hearn Court, Los Angeles
Cost: $35 to $135 per ticket, with proceeds benefiting local at-risk youth through The Los Angeles Partnership Schools.
Feeling generous? A $250 VIP Package — which includes orchestra seats, a green carpet entrance, and a VIP after party and meet & greet, plus tickets to the Climate Change Debate with James Cameron the night before — is also available.
Wish I could attend but can’t. Just have a simple request for Avatars merchandise licensing people. How can I get Avatar party supplies? Do they exist and if not how can we make and market them? I am trying every possible way to reach someone who knows.
