Eco-bar soap collaboration

We did it with lotions, and now we’re on to soaps. What green, paraben-free soap have you tried? And more importantly, what did you think of them? Share the info, so we can all get the good stuff –

So far, I’ve tried Pangea Organics‘ soaps. I love what this Boulder company’s trying to do with “ecocentric bodycare,” but I honestly find their soaps too scrachy for me. The scrachiness is actually an intentional thing, I think, for exfoliation — but it doesn’t work for me. I also think that the soaps smell slightly medicinal, and that they “melt” and get gunky very quickly in a soapdish….

Let me know what you think of the green soaps you’ve tried, and I’ll try to put together a roundup of sorts based on your recommendations.

Update, 5/15/07: I’ve now switched to Dr. Bronner’s Lemon Organic Bar Soap!
