Owning a piece of Co-opportunity‘s taking me into new, uncharted eco-territory — this time in my mouth.
Yesterday, I bought Eco-Dent‘s GentleFloss. This is a plastic-free, vegan, recyclable and biodegreable dental floss that comes in a recyclable paper package printed with soy ink. Cost: $5.49 for 100 yards, making it comperably priced to “regular” dental floss.
The stuff’s pretty nondescript — feels like regular dental floss.
So now I have a toothbrush with recyclable heads, natural toothpaste from Tom’s of Maine, and biodegreable dental floss.
Oral fixation? An eco-one, perhaps…

I’ve been using this floss for awhile – I buy it straight off of their website – and I LOVE it. I think it’s way better than the crappy corporate stuff.

Shipping would be almost as much as the floss itself though. Or do you get like 10 at a time to take advantage of the free shipping for orders over $50? I feel really lucky to have Co-opportunity near me –
