Eco-in-the-Echo: A month of sustainable fashion, design, and art

Eco-in-the-Echo

Echo Park’s about to get eco-artsy. Throughout November, vintage fashion boutique Warwick‘s going to celebrate Eco-in-the-Echo — “a month long event to promote sustainable fashion, art and design” — by showcasing eco-artists and designers’ works for sale at the store.

And Thursday’s the Eco-in-the-Echo kick off party! All are invited — no RSVP required — to celebrate over free drinks. Plus, the first 100 guests to arrive get a gift bag!

When: Thurs., Oct. 29, 8:30 pm – 1 am
Where: Warwick, 1461 ½ W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles

Among the fashion designers who’ll be featured at Eco-in-the-Echo are Joanna Oster, a clothing and houseware designer who uses vintage materials, eco-clothing company Nooworks, and recycled accessory companies Docs Pop and Button Muse. Plus, there’ll be eco-themed art by Colleen Corcoran and Joseph Prichard and sustainable floral designs by Chandra Abel Designs.

I wish I could be there, but I’ll be at the Rock-n-Platinum Preview & Party closer to me. So many green events, so few eco-transport options between Santa Monica and Echo Park at night….
