Want to brighten up your home with classy upcycled raven cloth napkins or a pair of winter-themed handpainted cups? Then I hope you’ve been paying attention to my posts about gift wrapping green! Eco-minded artist Jillian Doughty is running an eco-gift wrap holiday contest — and the prize is an item of your choice from Jillian’s eco-conscious Etsy store!
Yes, any one of the items from Jillian’s store can be yours, simply for making your own holiday giving a little greener this year. I would go for the cups pictured above if I were the winner, but the store also includes handpainted vintage vases, kettles, or glasses, and more to pick from.

Simply wrap a gift using reused, upcycled, or salvaged materials, then snap a photo of your work and email it to 22pagespdx@gmail.com, along with your contact info by January 10. Jillian says “a distinguished panel of judges” will then go through the entries, picking a winner by January 20. The winner will then get to pick a prize from the 22 Pages Etsy store.

Remember when you wrapped a gift with a chip bag turned inside out? Great idea that I use to this day!!!

I do remember! Haven’t used it lately because I haven’t been eating a lot of chips, but those bags really make for good shiny wrapping paper :)
