I’m staying in tonight so I can get to the Fair Trade Festival bright and early tomorrow –

When: 9 am – 2 pm on Sunday, August 13, 2006.
Where: St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Silver Lake. 1523 Golden Gate Ave. Los Angeles.
What: Los Angeles’ first annual Fair Trade Festival!

There will be lots of fair trade and fairly made products for sale, including choco and coffee from Equal Exchange and clothes from No Sweat. You’ll also be able to write letters to your political reps and get info on global and local hunger and poverty.

Participating orgs include Fair Trade LA, Oxfam America, Bread for the World, The One Campaign, and Ten Thousand Villages.
