Excellent documentary, Anat. It was a pleasure to watch the spotlight shine on the serious issue of the three tier system and the monopoly it keeps in place. How about doing a documentary on the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board next referencing Lew Bryson’s work? :)

Hey Anat — “The remaining 22% is where all the indie beer brewers come in” doesn’t assert that the indie brewers make up the entire 22% — just that they’re included in that percentage. I understand that you found the sentence confusing though. Thanks for dropping by.

I’m the filmmaker and wanted to correct one of the facts in your piece. Independent brewers only make up 5% of the US beer market. The balance is made up by imports (mostly Corona and Heineken) and malternatives.
