A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.
One lucky winner will get two organic cotton mesh produce bags, made under fair trade conditions in India. Both are the bigger size pictured — about a foot square — and come from French Basketeer, which makes very cute reusable totes.
Comment or email by Sunday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Monday (more info on freebies here).

Count me in! I have some produce bags I bought at Whole Foods, but they’re a stiff plasticky mesh and there are some foods (broccoli, asparagus) that are hard to get into them because the food keeps catching on the mesh. These look like they’ll be a good alternative.

Another week at the farmer’s market has proven that I definitely need a couple more of these to tote home my goodies.

I highly recommend these reusable produce bags! I have a couple and they work great! The grocery checker can see what’s inside without having to take your produce out of the bag…unlike some of the other reusable bags I’ve seen.

Now that my CSA is ending for the year (us unlucky midwesterners), I’d love a reusable bag to take to the grocery store.
