A weekly sharing of eco-shwag!
The Fruit Guys have kindly offered a box of fruit to a green LA girl reader!
To get it, you must 1) work in an office with other people, and 2) be willing to share fruit with them.
Basically, I would like the box of fruit to go to a workplace so lots of people can enjoy it — and possibly decide to get yummy fruit in the office on a more regular basis!
So — If you work in a Cheetos-n-Doritos office, and you think a box of fruit is just what your co-workers might need or want, just let me know in the comments that you wanna share the love of fruit :)

Update: Just so it’s clear — The Fruit Guys are sending a fresh box of fruit to whoever wins (I’m not repackaging the box I got — I’ve eaten a third of those already).

Damn I should have read this earelier! I would love a box of fruit to share with my office. Actually the wife and I have been meaning to try one of the several organic delivery services, mostly for veggies, but haven’t gotten around to it yet… driving from Downtown to the market for over priced produce is a pain in my wife’s tuchus.

I am the only woman in an office with 13 guys. Their idea of “healthy” is a bag of Sun Chips. I once brought in a 5 lb. box of clementines, and it disappeared in couple of hours, so I know if they have a healthy alternative to chocolate and cookies (and McDonald’s), they’ll go for it. I would like to share more fruit with them, so please enter me into the drawing.

I’d want this sent to my boyfriend’s office, there’s only one female there and they survive off junky snacks like fritos and snack-packs. they’re good guys just lazy when it comes to finding healthy eats.

I was fortunate to receive a box of fruit from The FruitGuys as a gift, so no need to enter me into the drawing.
Yet I did want to say that I took my box of fruit to work to share with my colleagues and was very surprised by the overwhelmingly positive response to enjoying organic, healthy fruit (our junk filled snack machine is revered like a God on my office floor). The entire box was gone in less than two hours; it kind of made me wish that I had stashed a few items for myself. :)

I would LOVE to win this box for my office! I work for a judge and he’s really been trying to eat better inbetween hearings and on breaks. Our division has really gotten behind him and tried to eat better so I think this would really encourage everybody to keep it up! Thanks for the entry! =)

I might be too late, it’s 2 AM on Monday. Hmm, I guess I’ll try anyway. I work at a movie theatre with about 20 other people and we all eat pretty bad, so I would love to share this with them.

Am I too late?!? I work for the Federal Government for goodness sake – they think I’m on a diet if I eat a sandwich with wheat bread. OK, in reading the previous comments I would feel too guilty stealing the box o’ fruit from any of them… So go ahead and count me out. But if there are any more boxes of free fruit floating around, keep me and my government employees in mind :)
