A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.

Today’s giveaway’s a prize pack from Disneynature’s Earth, a new film narrated by James Earl Jones that follows 3 animal families — polar bears, elephants, and humpback whales — to combine “rare action, unimaginable scale and impossible locations by capturing the most intimate moments of our planet’s wildest and most elusive creatures,” according to the film website.
Earth‘s the first film from Disneynature, Disney’s new documentary film label. The film comes to theaters on Earth Day, April 22; Disneynature’s promised to plant a tree in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest for every person who sees the film during its opening week!
As for the prize pack: Valued at $60, the Earth pack includes a tree seedling, a biodegradable and reusable tumbler, a canvas tote bag, and more. Comment or email by Tuesday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Wednesday (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.

I am SO interested! This movie looks fascinating and I am glad to see that Disney is using its power for good. Please consider me in the drawing so I can take my own tea to the movie on Wednesday. :) (ha, ha)

I so need to make up for the seedling I received from Wall-E, which I neglected. I’m now growing a baby tree on my windowsill, but would love another. Also, I’d love to see Earth in it’s opening week, but a little thing called “my sister’s wedding” may interfere with those plans. Anyway, enter me in the drawing…

I visited Animal Kingdom in Florida last November and I cant begin to tell you how much that park touched me. There are so many good lessons there and it empowers you to change the world for the better. There was also a video at Epcot that we watched that involved this movie. I cried thru the entire video and have been waiting ever since to see this. I am hoping many people go so we can all be opened up to the world around us. We need to cherish it and its family.

I would love to win this prize! Disney does not disappoint in this one. I was fortunate enough to see a preview of this movie, and it was amazing, I didn’t want to leave the theater, I wanted to see more. I will probably go see it again! For anyone who has ridden Soarin’ at a Disney park, it is almost like that, you feel like you are there, beautiful shots, just breathtaking.
