A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.

No More Plastic Baggies lunch kit from One Small Step

Today’s giveaway is a No More Plastic Baggies! lunch kit from One Small Step, an environmentally friendly store that sells reusable lunch gear and green school supplies. Valued at  $55, this kit contains the newest alternatives to  plastic bags for snack time, lunch time and traveling — as well as a few other lunch essentials.

The kit includes:

>> Two reusable wraps: a Wrap-N-Mat and a Kids Konserve Food Kozy, both reusable alternatives to plastic baggies! These mats wrap up your sandwich, then unwrap into “a handy, sanitary placemat,”

>> One snackTAXI Snack Bag, a “snack-sack neatly fits rice cakes, pretzels or crackers, and is equally good for grapes, carrots or celery sticks,”

>> Four reusable food containers: an Endurance Stackable Snack Can, Kids Konserve Steel Round Food Container, and ECO Lunchbox — all cute food containers made of durable, reusable stainless steel, plus a recycled plastic Preserve Food Storage Bowl with a screw-tight, sealable lid,

>> One Bambu Spork,

>> 6-pack of Rainbow Napkins.

Comment by Tuesday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Wednesday (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.
