Friday freebies: Practecol Energy Monitor

Posted by Siel in freebies (Friday July 30, 2010 at 7:15 am)

Twice-weekly green giveaways.

Practecol Energy Monitor

Today’s giveaway is for the eco-wonks. Always wondered how much energy your old toaster eats up? What your blogging habit costs you on your electric bill? If you win this freebie, you can find out.

The Practecol Energy Monitor is an electricity consumption meter that tells you exactly what your electronics are costing you to use them. Simply plug the monitor into any 3-prong wall outlet — then plug your electronic or appliance into it. The LCD screen will display your gadget’s kilowatt hour consumption — and cost.

Comment by Thurs., Aug. 5 to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Fri., Aug. 6 (more info on freebies here). U.S. addresses only.
