A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.
Today’s giveaway is a copy of The Thoreau You Don’t Know: What the Prophet of Environmentalism Really Meant, a book by Robert Sullivan that examines Thoreau and his work as a community-oriented “view of a civilized or even urban world.”
This is copy’s an uncorrected proof, not a hardcover. Read my review of The Thoreau You Don’t Know, then comment or email by Tuesday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Wednesday (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.

Add me in please, the book looks like a great read.

Not only did I get to read the review of a book I am crossing my fingers over getting, but I had previously missed your review of “Deep Economy,” so I am glad you led me to the review! Please count me in for this drawing…it sounds like an important (yet refreshing) shift in how we are categorizing humans in the eco-movement.

I did a report on Thoreau when I was in the sixth grade! This information blows my mind. Your review of the book brought out many interesting facets of him. Please count me in on this book drawing.
Many thanks….. Cindi
