A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.
Today’s giveaway is a copy of The Virtuous Consumer: Your Essential Shopping Guide for a Better, Kinder, Healthier World, which I reviewed here:
The book’s divided into 12 chapters, each of which focus on one area of life, like food and transportation and pet-ownership. You could tackle a chapter of The Virtuous Consumer a month to make 2009 your year of going green.
Comment or email by Sunday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Monday (more info on freebies here). US addresses only.

I would love a copy of the Virtuous Consumer!!

Sounds great! I was reading a book at the bookstore that’s similar in giving daily suggestions to going green. I always feel like there’s more I can do. Thanks for providing these giveaways!

This book sounds like it would be so helpful in assisting a young eco-student who is trying to be innovative in ways to get her stubborn roommates to see the benefits of making the apartment’s footprint smaller! :)
