A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.
Today’s giveaway’s a size small, organic cotton, US-made T-shirt from We Add Up, an eco company that invites you to get “counted” in the environmental movement.
Each of We Add Up’s T-shirts have a number showing that you’re part of a larger group that cares about enviro issues. Each T-shirt also has a lil enviro-related theme of your choice so you can proudly wear your pet cause on your back.
On the one hand, this numbering thing’s kind of a cute idea — except wearing a number makes one feel at best like one’s running a marathon, at worst like one’s in jail (You’d be inmate 1058, in the case of this particular T-shirt).
Plus, priced at $25 per T-shirt, We Add Up isn’t selling that many T-shirts. So far, you’d only be part of 2050 or so strong — Not a particularly encouraging display of enviro-solidarity….
Still, we’re still talking about an organic cotton T-shirt — and you don’t have to pay $25 to get into this drawing. The small size really is quite small; enter if you can wear a size 4 or smaller — or want to gift it to someone who can. A bicycling logo’s on the back of the shirt.
Comment or email by Sunday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Monday. US addresses only.

Please count me in! It sounds like it’d be too small for me, but I’m putting together an ‘eco-friendly’ gift basket for a silent auction for Relay for Life and I would include this in the basket! (I could even give props to Green LA girl for it!).

Hello Siel! I have been on this website and they t-shirts are supposed to be very soft! My sister’s church is sponsoring a “Green Day” for the Sunday School children. She could wear this small on that day! Thanks very much…..Cindi

That’s actually a really cute shirt. It wouldn’t fit me but it would make a great gift for someone I know.
