Nonprofit eco-news site Grist‘s got a brand new look, and is celebrating it by encouraging you to “Screw Earth Day” — and be good to the planet every day instead.
To help you embark on your new green-everyday lifestyle, Grist’s offering free downloads of its book, Wake Up and Smell the Planet: The Nonpompous, Nonpreachy Grist Guide to Greening Your Day! All you have to do is register with the site (or update your registration, if you were already a member on the old Grist site) — and the e-book will be yours.
Registering will also get you into a drawing for a trip to the 2009 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., June 11 – 14 — tickets and airfare for 2 included.
While I’m grateful for the free book and hope to win the trip, I remain very confused by Grist’s new design. Did Gristmill disappear entirely? If not, where is it?
