Green business networking

So I know I said I’m not a biz and thus don’t really fit in at these biz network things, but I went to another one anyway on Tuesday. You know, for the drinks.

This is Green Business Networking thing’s a series organized by Greg, green financial advisor, that’s been going on for a few months now.

For a $10 cover, you get yum organic snacks and wine — There’s also a juice guy there, selling fresh fruit & veggie juice –

Summer and I biked to the Meditrina Café in Venice — Summer with her own glass in tow! (left, pic from her blog)

The point of the gathering: It “offers you, the members of our city’s dynamic and growing green business community, a time and place for connecting, sharing, deal-making and networking.”

While I made no deals, I got into convos about everything from the health benefits of eating old, raw meat (I remain dubious) to learning French to making jewelry –

And when I got back to my pink bike, she’d made a new pink friend –

Wanna go? Try contacting Greg. Or email me, and I’ll forward you the next invite :)
