I’ve got your back Siel. “Goldsprints” are stationery bike races conducted with the use of a bike treadmill, usually in the form of rollers that will turn as the bike is pedaled and its wheels move upon them. The device is usually hooked up to a clock or odometer that will measure the cyclist’s speed and or distance.

Will — Yr awesome, and whoever does goldsprints is a masochist. Ok not really — but real bike races seem a lot more exciting –

Not the same as the real deal for sure, but you’d be surprised Siel. I’ve seen some goldsprints at Orange 20 bikeshop and they can get pretty intense, what with the racers cranking like mad and spectators all piled in around them cheering them on only a few feet away.
