>> Attend a Green Holiday networking event put together by the Women of the Green Generation and enjoy veggie cuisine, herbal teas, and conversation. Networking begins on Thurs., Dec. 17, 7 pm – 10 pm at The Tivoli House, 4136 Tivoli Ave., Los Angeles. Cost: $10. RSVP to Kris at 310.310.5692 or bhaktiyogagirl@msn.com.
>> Bike to the Holiday Breakfast Ride, the next Car-Free Friday organized by the L.A. County Bicycle Coalition! Meet on Fri., Dec 18 at 8 am for a yummy pancake and grilled cheese sandwich breakfast, cooked up by Food Not Bombs, plus coffee from Cafe De Leche, at Echo Park Lake at the corner of Glendale Blvd. It sounds like the ride is free but the food not, since proceeds will go back to Food Not Bombs. Unfortunately it’s unclear how much the food will cost. The ride begins at 8:30 am, heading into downtown LA around city hall, LAPD headquarters, then back. RSVP to aurisha@la-bike.org.

>> Get on your bike again for LACBC’s FREE Family Holiday Bike Ride that’ll take you around the Larchmont neighborhood to see all the lit up houses. There’ll be caroling, a visit from Santa, and warm refreshments from The Larchmont Larder. The ride happens Sat., Dec. 19 starting at 4:30 pm at The Rotary Club Christmas Tree Lot, 568 N. Larchmont Blvd.

The Car-Free Friday Ride is Free. We are asking a suggested donation of 2$ for grilled cheese and $1 for a pancake. Coffee is free.
See you there!
