For eco-minded music lovers, a pre-Grammy party’s happening this Friday. The people behind Green with Music, an invite-only eco-luxe spa and retreat during the Grammys, are also throwing an evening Rooftop Benefit Party that’s open to all with $35 to spare.
When: February 6, 2009, 9 pm – 2 am
Where: Rooftop of The Mercury, 3810 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles Whole Life Times office at 1200 S. Hope St., downtown Los Angeles. The location was changed due to rain.
Cost: $35 general; $100 VIP
There’ll be green cocktails and organic canapes — plus a DJ and live musical performances. Grammy nominees, artists, and celebrities will be at the party according to the planners — who are short on details as to which celebrities are expected to show up.
Proceeds from the benefit will go to Wherever the Need, a nonprofit that works to provide and conserve clean drinking water for people. I plan to be at the party — Say hello if you drop by!
