Thanks to Evan of Greene Street in NYC, who sent me some pretty cards I plan to use for the holiday season, pictured left.
Basically, these look and feel like “regular” cards. And really, they are — except that they’re printed on 100% post-consumer, processed chlorine-free paper with soy and veggie-based ink.
Greene Street’s a custom greeting card company. Even Greene Street’s website’s hosted by a solar and wind-powered server! Other energy’s offset by Terrapass carbon credits, and Manhattan orders can opt for a bicycle delivery :)
So if you wanna get some custom cards, it’s not hard. Just go to the site, pick an image from the stock photos (one option right) or upload your own, then create the message — including a lil blurb about your org or company on the back, if you want. You get a proof within 2 biz days, and 3-4 weeks later, you get your cards.
The price per card ranges from less than $1.65 to $3.95, depending on how many cards you order.
Happy green holidays, soon :)

Great to know of another resource for eco-friendly products.Carbon emissions offsets are a foundation of the ACES Program (they are the fastest, easiest, cheapest way to wipe out a big chunk of your carbon footprint) we educate, support research and provide access to eco-friendly products. It’s important to remember that carbon offsets are one piece of a big array of ways to respond to global warming. As new efforts emerge,ACES due diligence helps discern the best ways to go and ensures that there are tools for everyone to learn about and incorporate smart, effective environmental stewardship practices into their lives.Visit our website and sign up for our newsletter: http://www.acesprogram.com
