Basically, the Cali Green Lodging Program was put together to help State travel employees to travel green — but the list can help out any would-be-green traveller visiting Cali.

Not only can you browse the list green hotels by city, you can rave about your uber-green experience — or rant about your less-green-than-expected one, via a feedback form (online or PDF).

Unfortunately, Santa Monica has only 1 participating hotel, while Los Angeles has just 3 :( What up with that, yo? If you work at a hotel, be inspired by reading my review of Hotel Triton in San Francisco — a city with 18 green hotels…
