Not really growth, but changes — and shrinkage, in some respects.
For one, I’ve created a new caffeine category — into which both the former coffee and chocolate categories have been merged — and the tea posts added. The reason for this: The list of categories was getting too long. To that end, I’m also planning to nix the organic, environment, and food categories, cuz I don’t think they’re specific enough. If you’d really like me to keep those, lemme know; otherwise, they’re headed for deletion.
Secondly, about the green LA girl Calendar: I switched from Trumba to Google, cuz I belatedly found out that Trumba’s only free during a trial period! How do you like the new Google calendar? Any glitches? I esp. want to know if you’re having prob with it, cuz I do want it to be useful if I’m gonna spend the time working on it — Share yr frustration –

I love both coffee and chocolate but I prefer to keep them separate.

The only glitch (so far) that I’ve had with GCal is that sometimes after I click on the time bar, get prompted for event details, and then hit enter, it places the event in an unrelated (and I assume random) time bar. This hasn’t happened recently so, maybe, it’s advancing in beta and that bug has been removed.
BTW, try out docs and spreadsheets. So far, it’s been totally clean for me. This app. is so new, I’d be interested if anyone else has used it (particularly advanced formulas to run a dataset).

Will look out for that glitch, in case it reappears :) The docs and spreadsheets might be a good place to work on classroom stuff, so it’s accessible everywhere I am — thanks for the suggestion :)

Alas, a separate forum for herbal tea? And my fair-trade African rooibos?
Just kidding!

Oh, and Leighton Cooke–
I love chocolate, I love coffee, and I LOVE mochas!

I just like the idea of you (& anyone) re-examining what they’re doing and asking important, if seemingly little, questions like “is this the best way to do this?” Its so easy for all of us just to do what we’ve always done out of habit.

Wait — the chocolate, tea, and coffee have already been combined! Sorry Leighton –
But it looks like no one will really be bothered if I delete the other categories?
