Could it really only be 86°F in Santa Monica? It feels like 106°F –
The heat woke me up this morning. Now I’m trying to make myself feel better by looking up the temps of other places in LA I used to live.
Miracle Mile: 93°F. Koreatown: 94°F. Pasadena: 98°F.
At least I haven’t lost power; I’ve just lost the ability to think.
Is this how it’s going to be every year from now on?

Come hang with us in the IE — 101º in our back yard at 6pm. And 85º when I got up at 6am.
They say this is a litigious society; who can I sue to make it stop?

Wow! Sue Bush — the oil war’s certainly not helping the heating of the planet issue –

We were in Glendale last night, where it was at least 101 at 5 p.m. and 98 at 9 p.m. But it was more comfortable than the Westside because–seriously–it was a drier heat.

This was the first weekend i used my A/C! Ridiculously hot! I blew up my camping air matress and parked it under the a/c and slept there. I considered sleeping on the balcony – a la “Rear Window” – but it was even too hot for that.
