Holidays: A Fashionista’s dream

[Check out these links for green gift guides for Angelenos, guys, gals, kids & babies, or green LA girl. Gift baskets and non-consumer gifts here :)]

I’m giving you just 1 outfit, cuz the new sexy eco gal’s about simplicity :)

So: Let’s start simple, with a Summer Organic Cotton Scoop Tee made of 100% organic cotton line by a nonprofit employment program in the Tamil Nadu region of India.

For eco-friendly pants that’ll go with anything: Bamboo Denim Trousers. They can be dressed up or down — and they have a fun pocket thingie which acts as both a purse and a design touch :)

These Ecoganic handbags — made of reused gum wrappers — are cool — but if you’re a fashion novice buying for a fashion-forward person, I have 2 recommendations: Go uni- or bi- color, as opposed to psychadelically multi-colored. You can get these locally at the MOCA store or Regeneration.

Antique Filigree Earrings. Handmade, fair trade earrings made from sustainably sourced silver :)

A list for boys to come :) Happy Holidays –

  1. I love Global Girlfriends stuff–so happy when I saw them starting to use organic cotton.
