Home – Simply Yoga

I’m about to switch yoga studios.

Yoga girls know this isn’t a decision made lightly. But when I read about Home – Simply Yoga in Yogi Times, I had to check it out. And not just cuz the first session’s free (if you mention Yogi Times).

This studio takes enviro-consciousness seriously. We’re talking an enviro-friendly design, including floors made of reclaimed wood — a gorgeous mahogany. The place uses only non-toxic finishes and products. Plus, the studio supports Green Yoga, which is working on creating a network of enviro-conscious yoga studios.

So Summer (right) and I biked over there last night to try it out via a level 1 Ashtanga class. Our instructor Gary was, in Summer’s description, “the Mister Rogers of Yoga.”

Me: Who’s Mister Rogers?

Don’t worry — I googled the dude. Lemme say that Gary seems more — centered :)

I have a couple classes left in the series I bought at Yoga Works, but after that, it’s all Home – Simply Yoga.

Home – Simply Yoga. 1547 6th St., Garden Ste. Santa Monica. 90401. 310.899.1930.
