I’m speaking at Blankspaces tomorrow 4/7

Come say hi in person and hopefully learn a bit more about how to live a more eco-friendly life in LA at How to be Green in LA – and Beyond!, a FREE panel event at Blankspaces tomorrow:

When: Tues., April 7, 7 pm
Where: Blankspaces, 5405 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles
RSVP: Onlinve via MeetUp

Other panelists are:

>> Karen Solomon, co-founder of Opportunity Green who brings up the post I wrote about the lack of alt trans info for getting to Opp Green (to tell me that alt trans info’s tough to get in L.A.) whenever I see her — the last time being Saturday at the Your Daily Thread party, where I encouraged Karen to join the Los Angeles Wants Google Transit Facebook group (Earlier: Metro should get on the Google Transit train already),

>> Tracy Hepler of aforementioned Your Daily Thread, whom I also saw Saturday,

>> Andy Sternberg, now of Live Earth but who I mainly think of as an (former?) LAist writer, and

>> Shayna Prunier, a green building professional and the only member of the panel I don’t know. At least I don’t think I know her — I’ve been having an increasing number of interactions where I’ll introduce myself to someone, to be told “Yeah — we’re friends on Facebook.”

Yes, the event description’s rather vague and broad:

Come learn from the experts on how to be GREEN in Los Angeles and in the world. Panelists will cover what’s happening in LA that is eco-conscious and sustainable, as well as what can be done locally to affect the world at large; how to reduce your carbon footprint; how to get involved and make a difference; what to do in the home or office; and green consumerism in LA and via the Internet.

So if there’s something you’re especially curious about, let me know in the comments or via email and I’ll try to work it into the event, after I find out what exactly the format of the event is and how long it goes….
