FredCamino of MetroRiderLA gives us video-proof that Antonio Villaraigosa has taken the Red Line subway at least once!
I like how this ride basically forced all the media people to ride the subway too :)
On a more practical note: Today, and on New Year’s Eve, Metro’s offering free rides from 9 pm to 2 am.

Funny you mention that, if you listen closely when the Mayor is on the train, you can hear the Mayor’s PR going saying “Are you getting on??? You should get on! He wants you to get on!”
Looks like the Mayor really wanted that photo op after that LA Times article about him getting around via SUV.
