The Car Free Mondays series featuring de-car’d L.A. women is one of the most read series on green LA girl. And if you come to the Blogger Beach Cleanup, you’ll get to meet some of these cool women in person!
My guess is that Rosemary Brennan of Booking It Bus Style — whose Car Free Mondays interview you can read here — will probably bus it to the event using her laundry-mangled buss pass — and read a book during the trip!
Amanda F. Lipsey of Life Without Wheels will also travel green to Blogger Beach Cleanup. I think she’ll make the trip by bus because her bike just got stolen! Send Amanda bike-condolences. Her interview will hopefully be up before the big day.
Lisa Newton of Travelin’ Local is not technically car free — but she’s working to travel green as much as possible. I met Lisa at the L.A. Bike Summit a while back — Here’s her post about the event — and Lisa’s blog’s full of information about local, eco-minded travel, whether on bike or via Metro.

I’m looking forward to it. I was at the beach today and saw just we’ll be working on. It’s great to be included in the company of Amanda and Rosemary. Personally, my bus pass isn’t too mangled and thankfully, my bike is sitting right next to me now.

I hope I’ll have a “new” bike by then! But if there’s happy hour afterwards, I might bus it just so I don’t “drink and drive”. Can’t wait!!!
