There are bloggers — then there are entrepreneurs who start blogs to go along with their business! Some of the latter will be at the Blogger Beach Cleanup on Oct. 24 — giving the event a bit of a green business networking feel. Check out these eco-entrepreneurs’ blogs:
>> Sarah Shewey of Pink Cloud Events is the woman behind green events ranging from eco-bridal salon Soi-Meme to Your Daily Thread’s launch party.
>> Darren Moore, a.k.a. Ecomagyver, runs a business called Ecovations that helps green-minded people and businesses build, renovate, and live green. You may recognize Darren from Planet Green’s show, Alter Eco.
>> Micki Krimmel’s NeighborGoods lets you share what you’ve got with your neighbors. The site’s like a more personalized Craigslist mashed up with Google Maps for an eco-goal. (more)

>> Benjamin Goldfarb runs AltUse, “the ultimate destination for everything Alternative Use.” The site’s like an eco Instructables — dedicated to using what you’ve got to make what you need or accomplish what you want to do. (more)
>> Christy Coleman’s the beauty expert behind Christy Coleman, which promotes natural and eco-friendly cosmetics.
So sign up for Blogger Beach Cleanup now! There’ll be free drinks and snacks, Envirosax totes for the first 25 volunteers to arrive, lots of prizes, and a yummy happy hour at Pourtal.
