Hi Suzie
I use Organic Apoteke products - they are certified organic and alcohol free. I love the range.

@ Sarah, I have MCS. I use Neutrogena transparent face bar and Nature's Gate moisturizer, both fragrance free. I have trouble with synthetic chemicals esp fragrances, I get very sick. But I don't like strong essential oils esp mints. What do you use?

i agree about the strong fragrance....sorry ain't a big Fan of Miessence...i suffer from Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS). i get a running nose and eyes (like hayfever!) with strong fragrances and products that contain alcholol burns my skin. most products out there contain alcohol in one or the other.
Does anyone else out there suffer with MCS?

Wow! Nice review of Miessence. Thank you. A tip:
The facial cleansers need to be rinsed off with a wash cloth. That removes the "residue" to which you referred as well as dead skin cells. Also, you might try the "Purifying" line of skin care if you tend towards oily skin or the "Gentle." I, too, tend towards oily skin, and as an Independent Representative, I've tried them all. I've settled on the Gentle, as well as mixing in a dab of Garnet Exfoliant with the cleanser.
To further understand "organic" vs. "certified organic" please check out my blog at www.honestskincare.blogspot.com. Unfortunately in today's marketing there are those who "greenwash" the words in order to market inferior products. One Group, creators of Miessence, have set a standard that no one in the industry has met, food grade. As to the fragrances, these are do to the viable, live and potent herbs in the formulations.
I enjoy them, personally, and was pretty surprised when others didn't. I think this is acquired as one moves from synthetic fragrances to natural. But that's a guess. I've been growing and formulating with herbs for 10 years now and do remember when the new fragrances were strong to me; now I pretty much think them luxuriant.
As to the Reflect Outdoor Balm, it gains its SPF from the way it "reflects" rays rather than a sun block, which is unhealthy. Also, effectually it has an SPF rating of 29, but due to packaging and labeling requirements in Australia, they can only claim the 15. I've used it here in the mountains of San Diego working outside, and it works great.
I commend you on a fair and true assessment of the Miessence Products, thank you so much! I would also remind your readers, as I do mine, that great skin starts within, with a healthy diet and strong immune system. We are beautiful at any age when we are well.
