After a few emails to the Library board about full bike racks — and many months later — we now have more bike racks at the Santa Monica Main Public Library!
The new racks are near the northeast corner of the library facing 6th St., and apparently already popular — We may need yet more bike racks soon –
Here is a great example of why acting to influence your local government agencies *is* an effective way to make sustainable choices easier, or even in some cases possible. It is a way to have a direct effect on sustainabilities issues that no amount of blogging (alone) or national campaigning can have . . . Great work!
