The city’s been cruel to my car.
Someone neatly lifted Mut‘s front right blinker! And I actually have no idea when it got kidnapped, cuz I never really inspect the car. In any case, the light could’ve been happily blinking on someone else’s Honda Civic for months now –
My guess is that fixing this won’t cost as much as the last Mut molestation did.
But between the theft and all the maintenance stuff, I’m really getting sick of car ownership.
A sign to get rid of the car altogether?
Update, 9/2/06: Fixed it! For $30.
A friend of mine had the drivers seat stolen from his old car. It was only when he went to buy a replacement that he found out why it was stolen. He couldnt buy one anywhere. Who ever stole his seat must have been in the same position and just went out and found a car that matched theirs and stole the seat. It’s kind of funny now looking back :-)
