So glad to see more information coming out about eco yoga mats. Since I reviewed five eco mats on freshtopia.net, there have been several new mats that I am excited to try. Also since my interview on freshtopia, my - at the time- favorite mat has lost all stickiness. The jade harmony that I loved so much now slips around on the floor and under my hands (under my hands I could use yoga gloves, but slipping on the floor is very dangerous and there isn't much I can do about it). For an expensive mat to only last a few months is hard to swallow (and since I had to replace it, also not as much of an eco option). I am quite curious how the manduka mats hold up.
