My vote on Prop 81: Yes

Proposition 81 — also called California Reading and Literacy Improvement and Public Library Construction and Renovation Bond Act of 2006 — increases Library funding.

The deal: The state sell $600 million in bonds to provide grants to local agencies for construction, renovation, and expansion of libraries. LA libraries haven’t been substancially modernized in decades. They need help.

I’m a book-lover, and I want others to have the opportunity to become the same.
