Organized via a partnership among UCLA organizations, Opportunity Green’s a 1-day conference intended “to shift the consciousness of leaders such that they realize that being sustainable is ultimately more profitable,” according to Karen, a conference organizer.

Via panels, keynotes, and lots and lots of networking opps including a “green speed networking” session,” you’ll learn about develop green businesses successfully while networking with entrepreneurs and executives within the sustainable community.

The panel I’m most interested in is “The Greening of Los Angeles/The California Landscape,” which sounds like it’ll feature city and state officials in conjunction with biz people to talk about creating “a more sustainable region for business.”

It’ll be a busy day, running from 8 am to past 10 pm — but you’ll get organic yummies to sustain you.

And the first 10 green LA girl readers to register get a special $79.99 rate — over $200 off the regular $295 full price tix. Just use the code GreenLAGirlTEN.
