Luckily, Square One Organic Vodka — the first 100% organic rye vodka — is sold at Wally’s Wines in Westwood!

So I dropped by on Thursday afternoon to pick up a couple fancy bottles :)

Square One’s a small female-owned company that’s all ’bout being as green as possible :) Sez Allison, CEO and founder of Square One: “Our distillery is now starting to invest in equipment to convert our “waste” from fermentation into organic feed cakes for the local organic dairy farms near the distillery in Idaho, which has never been done before to our knowledge. Talk about going full circle!”

I dunno how waste fermentation works, but I know how to make cocktails — all of which were served on the rocks, due to my lack of shakers or nice martini glasses. Will make a note to get those for my next party.

You can get Square One Vodka at a buncha different places in SoCal — even more in NoCal. Remember to specifically request it for your fave vodka bev when you’re at Bandera, Casa del Mar Hotel, Gulfstream, Houston’s, Nic’s Martini Lounge and Restaurant, and Norman’s :)
