Organized knitting

I’ll never have to dig through a pile of needles to find the size I need again. I’ve made myself a felted needle case!

The free pattern’s here — Thanks to The Worsted Witch for posting about it! It fits all my needles up to size 12 — The bigger ones are still in a pile for now –

Lessons learned: I think I’m gonna have to machine wash the thing more than once to get it to felt completely. I also skipped the part about keeping the edges pulled in to prevent a ruffly edge, though it didn’t ruffle that much ….

Eco-factor: The main yarn (the white and gray base) isn’t v. eco — it was just leftover stuff from a long time ago. However, the gray yarn for the cables was Cascade Yarns Eco Wool that I got from Compatto :) The buttons are extras that came with my winter coat –

Now I need to make one for my crochet hooks.
