Green coffins and eco-friendly burial services have been popular with will-be-dead environmentalists (that’s YOU!) for a while now — but a new company’s got a way to help you mark the end of your life even more greenly: Eco-friendly memorial service invitations.

That’s right — You can now get buried in an eco-coffin, and also encourage your memorial service guests to bury their invitations — embedded with wildflower seeds — to sprout new life in remembrance of you.

This green paper products from Remembrance Tree Papers comes courtesy of eco-friendly paper company Twisted Limb Paperworks. Available are memorial service invitations, memorial bookmarks, guest registers, and thank-you notes from 100% chlorine-free, post consumer waste recycled papers and cardstock that’s manufactured at Twisted Limb’s carbon-neutral facilities. The vellum’s also made chlorine-free from 30% post consumer waste.

For those who prefer cremation: Try to stick around a bit longer. According to Treehugger, Twisted Limb’s working on “handmade paper urns embedded with tree seeds.” Or you could make your body useful even after death by turning your cremains into pencils. Unfortunately, that idea from product designer Nanine Jarvis isn’t yet an easy option for the average mortal.
