Do you love eco-fashion — and look good in it too? If the green clothes you wear turn people’s heads — and make them consider a eco-friendlier lifestyle — Project Green Search wants to hear from you.
Project Green Search is a competition to find the next “green it girl” — whether she wants to be a model, spokesperson, or host. Last year, environmentalist and holistic nutritionist Rachel Avalon was selected the winner of Project Green Search. Now in its second year, the competition’s gotten hotter and greener — and bigger and better, partly because green LA girl’s one of the media partners!
The lucky eco girl selected will get not just a representation offer by a modeling and talent agency, but also a whole lot of green freebies to get her started on her new greener lifestyle as an eco model and spokesperson for the green movement. A shopping spree at eco-shop Shift Boutique, an eco-beauty makeover from green beauty store Evolue, a library of eco-living books, and raw vegan cooking classes are just some of the items in the prize package for the big winner.
Put together by Aysia Wright of ChartreusePR, the green competition’s free to enter! Simply complete an entry form on the Project Green Search website and submit it along with a head and full body shot, plus a personal, 300 to 500-word essay on what sustainability means to you by the end of 2010.
Then, public voting begins — Everyone will be able to see and vote for their favorite new green models. From there, 10 finalists will be selected — and invited to to a series of final challenge events in February in Los Angeles — at the end of which the winner will be announced. Good luck!
