Your metro bus or subway ticket’s now your concert ticket! Public Displays of Affection — events put on by Global Inheritance to show public transportation in LA a little love — welcomes all public transit takers to Hollywood for performances by Ladytron and Great Northern.

When: Thursday, September 27,2007, 7 pm – 10 pm
Where: In the courtyard of Hollywood & Highland, 6801 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles.
Cost: Free with bus or subway ticket

Plus, DJ Taina’s a special guest, and TRASHed: Art of Recycling‘ll be on exhibit.

For bus riders without passes who pay per ride — Eric of Global Inheritance advises asking the bus driver for a receipt when you get on so you have a proof-of-ride for the concert.

No, you can’t get in with a subway ticket you got at the Hollywood & Highland station. So take public transit and avoid the traffic jam and parking hassles, then enjoy the concert road-rage free — It’s something less than a holiday –
