Missed World Habitat Day on Monday? Angelenos have another chance to benefit Habitat for Humanity this month — all while partying with fellow environmentalists and enjoying a live performance by Ben Lee!
That event’s Rock-n-Platinum Preview & Party, an evening that brings together eco-architecture and design with music and philanthropy. Rock-n-Platinum’s both a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Greater LA — and a preview party for Lofts @ Cherokee Studios, eco-friendly live-work spaces created by REthink Development that’s expected to get LEED Platinum rating.

Cherokee Studios’ lot used to be a recording studio — so many musical elements have been incorporated into the building’s green design. The party itself will be a musical celebrations with live performances by Ben Lee, BlueSkyReality, and DJ Axel.
Find out more about the green features and amenities at The Lofts @ Cherokee Studios — or see everything in person at the Rock-n-Platinum party! The festivities will happen Oct. 29, from 7 pm – 10 pm at The Lofts @ Cherokee Studios, 751 N. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles.
Tickets cost $50 — but green LA girl readers can get 20% off that price by using the code “greenlagirl” (without the quotes). VIP tickets — with more drink and raffle tickets, access to a VIP suite, and a chance take a test ride in the Tesla Roadster — are also available for $75. Proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity of Greater LA.
