Airport Park — Santa Monica’s first brand new park in 24 years — will celebrate its grand opening on Sunday, April, 29, 2007, from 1 – 4 pm.
The event will feature music from the Belle Air Brass, treats from Typhoon Restaurant and the Spitfire Grill, soccer fun and skill challenges on the 3-acre synthetic turf sports field, a WALK Santa Monica activity around the park’s loop path, and a dog obedience demonstration near the off-leash dog area.
So take the Big Blue Bus line 14 to the 8.3-acre park, at Bundy Dr. and Airport Ave.
YAY! Finally a dog park on the west side of town!!!
