LOL the peeing comment made me remember the ’70′s and the denim jumpsuit my mom bought me. It was such a pain to use the bathroom but I thought I looked SOOOOOO cool!

Maria hit the nail on the head. Jumpsuits have their advantages, but convenience in the restroom isn’t one of them. Science fiction writers and filmmakers seem to be stuck on the jumpsuit as futuristic clothing, which only suggests to me that they’ve never actually worn a jumpsuit.

A jumpsuit seems like a good strategy for people with no hips or butt. I was losing weight recently and all my best jeans were starting to ‘jail’. My solution (I hate buying clothes) was to do some targeted weight training. It’d be interesting to see mechanics coveralls as a chic fashion trend, like trucker hats but more so.

I’m not a fan of that jumpsuit. It would probably work better as separates, with a camisole underneath.

Jumpsuits, in any form, all share one major problem–you have to disrobe to pee. I am not a fan of any fashion that makes me have to nearly take off the entire outfit to to use the toilet.

You know that I had to vote “yes.” ;D

If you don’t like this one, I’ve seen the jumpsuit in other forms, but yeah, I know I may not be able to win many converts. I really like the drapey-ness of this new wave of jumpsuits and there’s this touch of nostalgia that gets to me, too. If you could have seen my Mom back in the day, wearing her jumpsuit, heading out with her girlfriends – she was pretty incredible.
